Kristine Clark Hahn, EA
Kristine has been with the firm for over 20 years. An Enrolled Agent (enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service on the same footing as attorneys and CPAs) since 1990, she has successfully represented clients under audit before the IRS, the Franchise Tax Board, and other taxing authorities. Special strengths include individual, corporation, trust and partnership tax return preparation, and correspondence with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board to settle disputes and (their) processing errors. Prior to joining the firm she worked for 5 years as a controller for a full-service advertising agency in Palo Alto, where |
she also edited, typeset and proofread high-tech material. This gives her a special knowledge of and sympathy for the kinds of problems that creative people encounter in their commercial work, and she loves to help artists, photographers and other right-brained people deal with the unpleasant necessities of the real business world.
Horse crazy since the age of 4, she rides regularly at a hunter/jumper equestrian center in Portola Valley, falling in love with one horse after another. She left her beloved native state of Washington to attend Stanford University, where she completed a major in medieval, renaissance and reformation history, and is happy to think of herself as a provincial westerner. She is married, lives in Sunnyvale and has 5 young grandchildren. |
